What is the NYCARC User Group
The NYCARC User Group (NYCARC) is an independent Geographic Information Systems (GIS) group of ESRI product users from the New York City Region. Its purpose is to provide a forum for product discussion, data and script sharing, networking and mini-training. NYC ARC's membership includes GIS professionals from government, non-profit organizations and the private sector.
NYCARC typically meets several times each year. Meetings consist of presentations by members and demonstrations of new ESRI products. The presentations are intended to technical in terms of the software. Generic overviews of specific GIS organizations are kept to a minumum. Users of all levels of experience are welcome.
